田舎時間を終えて，，，

田舎時間を思い出す

廣本喜久 27歳，男性，林業，和歌山県在住 田舎時間、初参加です。以前から参加したいと思っていましたが、東京から遠い所に 住んでいるので、今回いろいろな人のつながりで参加できたことをうれしく思っています。 参加動機は、普段食べているものがどのような過程や苦労を経て市場に届けられているのか を知りたいということでした。またそれぞれの果物の葉の形状など、知らないことが多く、 非常にためになりました。スイカの苗の葉はどんな形をしているのかと聞かれても、 今までなら答えることはできず、またスイカを夕顔に接木しているとは思いもよりませんでした。 地元の方々には温かく迎えていただき、本当にありがたく思います。高橋さん一家のおいしい 食事、新鮮な山菜と本格的なお蕎麦、またその際に交わされた会話は、どれをとってもよい 思い出です。 今回知れたことはほんの一部にしか過ぎないので、また参加したいと思います。

かな 商社営業，東京都在住 東京よりちょっと遅れて春が訪れていたかみのやま。 桜やたんぽぽがいきいきして、みているだけで元気になります。 山登り（？）をしたのははじめてだったけど、 てっぺんからの景色にココロがすっきりしました。 あんなにいっぺんに山菜をいただいたのもはじめてです。 小穴のみなさま本当にありがとうございました。

まりな シンクタンク研究員，東京都在住 今回は実際に企画を立てて、農作業から山菜摘み、調理実習、交流会まで実行できた という意味で喜びもひとしおだし、本当に楽しかったです。お天気も良くて爽快でしたし、 前回同様、受け入れ農家の皆様と市役所の井上さんが温かく迎えてくださり、3日間 ご一緒してくださったことに大変うれしく思います。ありがとうございました！ 今回の田舎時間について特筆すべきは、参加者同士がとても仲良くなったことです。 東京に帰ってからも連絡をとり合っては会うくらい親しい間柄になるのは珍しいことなので、 それだけ上山での体験がそれぞれにとっていい思い出になったのかもしれません。 またいつかこのメンバーで「里帰り」できたらいいなと思います。

うまちゃん 27歳，女性，東京都在住 ‘おなかいっぱい！！ありがとう！’ GWの3日間多くの人に触れ多くのことを学び、多くの経験をしました。 とても充実した３日間でした。 農作業に集中したり　山菜探しに行っていた時、時間の経過の感覚がなくなり、 とても穏やかな気持ちになりました。そして今こうして東京に戻ってからもなお 山形で過ごした時間を思い返します。だからまた上山に帰らないと！！

Ben 40 years old, male, office worker, residing in Tokyo Our trip started at the early hours of Golden Week -- 5am on Wednesday morning! This was my first time outside of Tokyo in about 2 years.. well, if you don't count my trip to Kyoto which every gaijin makes at least once. No, this was my first real trip outside of Tokyo and I was quite excited though a bit sleepy that morning. We helped two farmers tend to their crops, and get to learn about life outside of Tokyo as well. For me, there was the added attraction of staying in a ryokan, eating local dishes, talking (albeit indirectly through my bi-lingual friends) to the locals, and visiting the public bathhouses. I guess the highlight for me would be the second day. It started out with the intent to find san-sai (mountain vegetables). We eventually did manage to find sansai and later that night, we had a huge feast with the some of the farmers and their wives. We all shared in preparing dinner -- sansai tempura and hand-made soba. I even got the chance to knead, roll, and cut soba. I felt happy and very lucky to spend time with people who were so warm, kind and full of laughter. At the end of the trip, I left with a feeling that it was worthwhile on many levels. I got to help Yoshida-san albeit in a small way, I got to learn about a farmers' life and appreciate the enormous effort and dedication that is required. In a way, it has changed my perception of my life, just as I am sure my own words and views have changed theirs in a way. For this I am very happy to have been able to take part, help, and share.
